- Get 3 tbsp Sugar
- Prepare 2 pinch Baking Powder
- Use 1 pinch Salt (to balance the sugar and enhance the flavor in the pancake)
- Provide 1 tbsp Melted Butter
- Get 1 Egg
- Use 5-6 drops Vanilla Extract Milk
- Use 1 oacket M&Ms
- Use 2 tbsp chocolate paste
- Prepare as needed Cherries
- Provide as needed Butter to fry
Steps to make Oats Pancake:
- Mix flour, oats, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
- Whisk milk, egg, melted butter and the vanilla extract until combined and fluffy.
- Pour in the wet mixture into the dry mixture with continuous folding in with the fork, in portions to avoid lumps. Little bits of tiny lumps if remains will be fine, but over mixing is the common mistake. Baking powder and egg is added to make pancake fluffy. Over-mixing pancake batter will make it heavy and flat.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly brush the pan with melted butter. Take a ring mound and apply butter on the side and place it on the hot pan.
- Use a deep spoon to pour batter onto the mould. When the bubbles start to appear, cover the pan with a lid for few seconds. When edges look dry lift the pancake with spatula and carefully flip the pancake back to the pan. Add a small dollop of butter on the pan.
- Taking off the pancake with the spatula and push in the M&M’s on the hot pancake and garnish with fruits & chocolate paste
Heat a nonstick griddle over medium heat. Turn pancakes over when tops are covered with bubbles; cook until bottoms are lightly browned. I use whole wheat flour to make them even more healthy. They turn out very nice, not too heavy. Transfer to a medium sized mixing bowl and stir in baking powder, salt and sugar.
